# Manage feature settings {: #manage-feature-settings }

With the proper access and permissions, you can view and manage feature settings for your account and for other users.

!!! info "Availability information"
    The ability to manage feature settings is off for most users by default; however, **Org Admin**s may have access to a limited selection of feature settings as defined by your DataRobot configuration. Contact your DataRobot representative or administrator for information on enabling features.

    **Required permission**: Can manage users

## Manage your feature settings {: #manage-your-feature-settings }

To manage feature settings for your account, click your profile avatar (or the default avatar ![](images/icon-gen-settings.png)) in the upper-right corner of DataRobot and click **Settings**.

On the **Settings** page, you can enable or disable features for a user and see which features are already enabled. Some features may not be available for pre-existing projects, in which case you could rebuild the project, or some models, to apply the new feature.

## Manage feature settings for users {: manage-feature-settings-for-users}

To manage feature settings for other users, click your profile avatar (or the default avatar ![](images/icon-gen-settings.png)) in the upper-right corner of DataRobot and then, under **APP ADMIN**, click **Users**.

On the **All Users** page, you can click an individual user in the list and click the **Permissions** tab to enable or disable features for their account. Some features may not be available for pre-existing projects, in which case the user could rebuild the project, or some models, to apply the new feature. If they are unsure, suggest that they recreate the project.

## Settings page sections {: #settings-page-sections}

The **Settings** (or **Permissions**) page is divided into product sections (i.e., **MLDev**, **MLOps**) and then maturity levels for the features within each product (i.e. **GA**, **Public Preview**). To navigate to a product, click the associated tab.

The **Platform** section also includes an **Admin Controls** tab (for system and organization admins only).

On the **Settings** page, you can do the following:

* Search for a feature or permission by clicking the search box (or press **Ctrl**/**Cmd** + **F**), and typing the feature name or label.
* Display a tooltip describing a feature by hovering over the feature name; contact DataRobot Support if you need more detail.
* Enable a feature or permission by turning on the associated toggle.

!!! warning
    When you search for features or permissions, the list is filtered. Be sure to clear the search bar to view all of the features and permissions again.

## Premium and enabled features {: #premium-and-enabled-features }

=== "SaaS"

	On the **Settings** page, you can see which **Premium** products and **Enabled** features are included in your DataRobot license.

	Contact DataRobot support if you need more information on premium and enabled features.

=== "Self-Managed"

	The **Premium** products available in a deployed cluster depend on your organization's DataRobot contract. When premium products are defined in the cluster configuration file (`config.yaml`), you can enable them for any user in that cluster. If you need to change the available premium products, contact customer support.

	The **Enabled** features in a deployed cluster are defined in the cluster configuration file (`config.yaml`). These features are available to all users, are not configurable via the UI, and cannot be set for individual users. If you need to change the enabled features, contact Customer Support.

## Self-Managed AI Platform admins {: #self-managed-ai-platform-admins }

The following is available only on the Self-Managed AI Platform.

### Cluster-wide features {: #cluster-wide-features }

On the **Settings** page, you can see which **Premium** products and **Enabled** features are defined in your cluster configuration.

!!! note
    For more information on changing the cluster configuration in the `config.yaml` file, see the *DataRobot Installation and Configuration Guide*.

### Grant permissions to users {: #grant-permissions-to-users }

If you are a system administrator, you can grant the **Can manage users** permission to another user, allowing them to manage their feature settings *and* those of other users.

!!! note
	 Consider and control how you provide these permissions to non-administrator users. One way to do this is to add permissions on an "as-needed" basis and remove those permissions after the user completes the related tasks.
